Fresh Ideas for Card Making
Watercoloring With Markers Using the Direct to Stamp Technique

This is an easy watercoloring technique using regular dye-based markers.

Here's How:
1. Stamp image from Beautiful You using black or gray archival inks or Stazon.  You will need to use one of these types of inks so the main image will not run when the water-spritzed colors are added.

2. Apply color directly to the "style" image using Stampin' Write Markers. Colors I used were Pool Party, Island Indigo, and Crumb Cake

3. Lightly spritz the stamp with water.

4. And, stamp.  That's it!

5. To complete the card,
color in the hat using Island Indigo and Pool Party markers.
Mat to Island Indigo card stock, then mat to Crumb Cake card stock.
Attach to Pool Party card base using Dimensionals to pop it up.
Stamp greeting using Island Indigo ink.
