Upcycled cardboard paired with distressed embossing creates a gritty steam punk vibe
Instructions:
1. Create card front
-tear a strip of cardboard from a scrap box
-dab Versamark ink along the ridges and edges of the cardboard and heat emboss using copper embossing powder
-emboss Pecan Pie card stock using Brick embossing folder. Lightly swipe White Craft ink over the raised image, then heat emboss using white embossing powder.
-Lightly swipe Memento Black ink along the edges and over the raised embossing
-die cut or punch heart out of Copper Textured Metallic paper.
Stamp gears and textures using Versamark and heat emboss using copper embossing powder.
-sponge Versamark along the edges and heat emboss using black embossing powder
-die-cut gears and textures out of Copper Textured Metallic, Basic White, and Basic Black card stock
2. Complete the card
-attach die-cut textures on card front
-attach cardboard, heart and gears using Dimensionals to pop them up
-attach to Basic Black card base to
complete
