Instructions:
Create
Triple Arch Card Base:
You will need 3 panels. I used the Everyday Arches dies, but you could use any shape-circles, squares, rectangles
-cut 3 panels out of Secret Sea card stock using an Everyday Arches die
-cut 3 panels out of
Cloud Cover card stock using the next smallest Everyday Arches die
-cut 3 panels out of Basic White card stock using the next smallest Everyday Arches die
You will need 2 connecting pieces for the back side measuring 2" x 2 3/4", and scored in half at 1"
Create Woodland Scenery Panels:
Stamp each of the Basic White panels, creating a snowy scene using the Woodland Scenery and Bauble Blooms stamp sets and Light and Wonder dies:
-add Balmy Blue ink on each panel using a Blending Brush
-die-cut trees out of scrap card stock using a die-cut machine and Light and Wonder Die
-lay the stencil part of the die-cut along the top of each panel and lightly add Cloud Cover ink using a Blending Brush to create the trees in the background
-stamp deer from
Woodland Scenery on masking paper or post-it note and cut out, creating a mask.
-stamp the deer on the first panel using Pecan Pie ink, then cover the image with the mask. Stamp the trees using Secret Sea ink, stamping full strength, and again without inking.
-stamp greeting from Bauble Blooms and deer on the
2nd panel using Secret Sea and Pecan Pie inks
-stamp cabin, smoke, and tree on 3rd panel using Pecan Pie, Smoky Slate, and Secret Sea inks
-stamp snowflakes on all 3 panels using Cloud Cover ink
Complete the
Card:
-attach the stamped panels to Cloud Cover arches, then to Secret Sea arches
-attach the card panels using the connector pieces. Adhere one connector between the 1st and 2nd panels, and another between the 2nd and 3rd to create an accordion fold. The 1st fold is a "mountain" fold, and the 2nd fold is a "valley"
fold.
