Ready to mix whimsy with softness? 

Step outside the ordinary and into a world of playful creativity with these charming doodle-style flowers!

 In just minutes, you can sketch simple floral designs and bring them to life with soft pastels chalk—blending shades to create fun flowers!

Instructions:

1. Create Doodle Flowers
-Use a black fine-line marker to draw simple “skeleton” flowers and flower centers on either watercolor paper or Basic White card stock.

2. Add Color with Soft Pastels
-Apply lines of soft pastel chalk directly over the drawn lines of the flowers.

3. Blend the Pastels

-Use your fingertip, sponge dauber, water painter, or a q-tip dipped in a small amount of water to gently blend the pastels.

For the yellow and orange flowers, I used watercolor paper and blended the pastels with q-tips and water.

For blue and purple flowers, I used Basic White card stock and blended the pastels with my fingertips.

4. Finish the Card

-Stamp greetings using Memento Black ink.

-Attach to Basic Black mats, then  to Lemon Lolly or Coastal Cabana card bases.

-Add Black Matte Dots to complete.

Ink: Memento Black

Paper: Lemon Lolly, Coastal Cabana, Basic Black, Basic White, watercolor

Accessories: Soft Pastels, Fine Line Marker, q-tips, water, Black Matte Dots
