Instructions:
Create Faux Bargello Quilt card front:
-cut designer paper into 1/2" wide by 6" long strips. For this card, I used a pattern found in Boho Vibes 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper.
-determine the size of the card front, making sure it measures in 1/2" wide increments. My card front measured 4" x 5".
-apply a piece of adhesive paper to
Basic White card front.
-lay strips of DSP, creating the easy Bargello techinque.
-emboss card front to replicate quilt stitching. I used the retired Softly Sophisticated Embossing Folder, but any embossing folder will do.
Complete the card
-using a Blending Brush, sponge or sponge dauber, add Balmy Blue ink to a piece of Basic White card stock.
-stamp sun and sun ray images from Sunshine Vibes using Cajun Craze and Crushed Curry inks.
-attach to Misty Moonlight mat and attach to card front using Dimensionals to pop it up.
-Attach card front to Misty Moonlight card base.
-Add gems to complete.
