Instructions:
1.Create the Faux Patina:
-Emboss Basic White card stock using die-cut machine
and Seaside Wishes Hybrid Embossing Folder.
-With Blending Brushes, add Pretty Peacock, Garden Green, and Pecan Pie inks. Add Early Espresso ink along the edges. Make the colors as light or dark as you'd like.
-Place drops of Gold Metallic Enamel Effects in a small container or on a Silicone Craft Mat. Crinkle up a
small piece of cling wrap. Dab the cling wrap in the Enamel Effects and add to the card front using a pouncing motion. Add Enamel Effects along the edges. I wanted the color to have a little more contrast, so I added some Copper Metallic Enamel Effects. Stamp speckles from Seaside Wishes using Crumb Cake ink.
Done!
2.Attach card front to Gold Foil mat. Attach to Lost Lagoon card base.
3.Die-cut sand dollars, starfish, and seaweed out of Gold Foil and Lost Lagoon card stock using the Seaside Wishes Dies.
4. Attach die-cut pieces to card front using Dimensionals to pop them up.
5. For the greeting, do the Faux Patina Technique on a small spot of scrap Basic White card stock. Stamp greeting using Early Espresso ink. Punch using 1" circle punch and attach to the card front. Add gold gems to complete.
