Instructions:
Pouch:
11" x 5 1/2" Designer Series Paper, scored in half at 5 1/2", and 1/2" on
3 sides.
Measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Insert:
2 3/4" x 5" Basic White
Matting 3 " x 5 1/4" Melon Mambo
Matting 3 1/4" x 5 1/2" Blackberry Bliss
Pouch:
1.Cut and score DSP for pouch using the measurements above.
2. Remove the 2 tabs on the bottom edge of the DSP where the score lines intersect using scissors. This will
allow easy folding and assembly of the pouch.
3. Die-cut or punch a 1/2 circle from the top edge of the DSP.
4. Fold along the score lines, using a bone folder to get good crisp score lines.
5. Apply adhesive along the bottom and 2 side
edges. Fold in the bottom edge and secure. Fold in the 2 side edges. Apply Tear & Tape Adhesive along the top of the 2 side edges. Fold the pouch in half, securing the pouch closed.
6. Stamp greeting from Cheerful Daisies on Basic White card stock using Blackberry Bliss ink. Die-cut using Everyday Details Die. Attach to Melon Mambo mat. Attach to pouch front using
Dimensionals to pop it up.
Insert:
1.Add color to Basic White insert by using the Direct to Paper Technique, swiping Balmy Blue ink pad along the front. Sponge Azure Afternoon ink along the edges.
2.Two-step stamp images from Fields in Bloom
stamp set on Basic White card stock. I stamped the flowers first using Melon Mambo ink, then stamped the leaves and grass using Blackberry Bliss ink.
TIP: use a stamp positioning tool to aid with the placement of the 2 stamps
3.Stamp Clouds using Azure Afternoon ink. Stamp hummingbird using Blackberry Bliss
ink.
4.Attach to Melon Mambo Mat, then to Blackberry Bliss base. Punch a hole in the top of the insert using a small hole punch. Insert ribbon, tying in a knot.
5. Add gem embellishments to complete.
