Instructions:
1.Create a circle stencil by die-cutting or punching a circle out of scrap card stock. I used my 2 1/2" circle punch.
2.Lay stencil on Basic White card front, securing it with washi tape. Apply Balmy Blue ink inside the stencil, adding more color around the edges of the circle using a Blending Brush, sponge dauber or sponge.
3.Outline the inside edge of the circle using a Balmy Blue Stampin' Write Marker. I also added a white outline on top of
the Balmy Blue using a white gel pen.
4.Stamp the angel from So Very Merry inside the stencil using Memento Black ink.
5.Remove the stencil and color the angel:
-wings: white using the white gel pen
-dress: a combo of Pool Party and Coastal Cabana Stampin' Write Markers
-hair and ring around the circle: Daffodil Delight Stampin' Write Marker
I then added Wink of Stella to all parts of the angel for a little sparkle
6.Create the hanger: I created a stencil by punching the top of a retired ornament punch out of scrap card stock. I laid the stencil at the top of the ornament and added Balmy Blue ink. I then added an outline around the edge of the stencil using Balmy Blue Stampin' Write Marker and white gel pen.
7.Two-step stamp pine boughs
using Gold Greenery stamp set. I stamped the solid image using Soft Sea Foam and the detailed image using Garden Green inks. I placed a ruler along the top of the ornament to one of the pine boughs, drawing a line using Balmy Blue Stampin' Write Marker and white gel pen. Lightly add Balmy Blue ink along the edges of the card front using a Blending Brush or sponge.
8.Add a bow tied out of ribbon or
baker's twine and secure to the top of the hanger using a Glue Dot. I used Crushed Curry Baker's Twine out of my stash.
9.Stamp greeting from Greetings of the Season using Memento Black ink. Attach card front to Balmy Blue mat. Attach to Basic White card base. Add Pool Party dots to complete.
