Instructions:
Paper Measurements
for box:
Card Base: (Night of Navy) 4 1/4" x 11"
Scored at 4", 5 1/2", 9 1/2" and 10 1/2"
Card front: (Basic White) 4" x 3 3/4"
1.Cut and score card base using the measurements above.
Tip: do not fold along the score lines until you have embossed, punched, and stamped your images.
2.Emboss Basic
White card front using Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and Snowflake Sky Embossing Folder.
3. Attach card front to card base. Die-cut or punch a circle out of the card front. I used my 2 3/8" circle punch. Stamp greeting from So Very Merry above the hole using Night of Navy ink.
4.Stamp image from So Very Merry on vellum using Versamark ink. Heat emboss using heat tool and silver embossing powder.
5. Color image using a variety of Stampin' Write Markers or Stampin' Blends. I used Stampin' Write Markers. I also colored in the the wings using a White Gel Pen. Once the coloring was complete, I went over the
image using Wink of Stella for additional sparkle.
6.Die-cut or punch the image out. I used my 2 1/2" circle punch.
7. Add a small amount of Tombow Liquie Glue around the edges of the image and then secure to the back side of the punched circle on the card
base.
8. Create ring for image: punch Night of Navy card stock using 2" circle punch. Position the 2 1/2" circle punch over the hole and punch, leaving a 1/2" ring. Attach to card front using Tombow Liquid glue.
9. Fold card base along the score lines forming
the box. Secure close by adding Tear & Tape Adhesive to the 1" panel.
10. Add battery-operated votive candle or string of fairy lights to the inside of the box. I used a 12" string of fairy lights from my stash. I also punched a hole in the back of the box to thread the lights through. The battery sits behind the box on a table surface. (see photo
